Dear Blox (formerly CoinDash community),
2 days ago, we launched our new product under a new and improved brand — Blox. We wanted to take a moment and address some of the questions that rose from our community, this post should cover most of it, if anything was left out, we are here to answer your questions.
Why rebrand?
We wanted to give a fresh new look, a fresh new design with a fresh new name. Blox is a brand name that will be synonymous with the growing cryptocurrency market. Simple, clean and intuitive.
What will happen to CDT?
CDT will stay CDT. The token name will be changed to blox but the ticker name will remain intact! You will be able to see the changes and the modifications on the big crypto portals once it is changed.
When and how will CDT be incorporated into Blox?
The first use cases of CDT will be incorporated as early as Q2 2018, just like the original roadmap suggested. At first the CDT holders will be able to benefit from a few advantages, but further down the road, the CDT will be the beating heart of the developing ecosystem.
Why release a product now without a CDT use case?
In the end of the day, the goal of every crypto-company is to create a product that people truly need. Although many haven’t released their products yet, it was essential for us to be able to showcase our work, receive and collect feedback and continue building a product based on what our users really need. A platform for the community, by the community. Once the foundations are solidified, we can start looking at additional feature implementation, token use and new functionalities.
What happened to all of the social trading features?
The social trading functions are still in focus. To be able to develop good social offerings, blox needs to attract the right kind of users to the platform. If traders do not find the platform user-friendly, accurate and advanced, as much as the social features would be evolved, the platform itself wouldn’t be appealing enough. You need to give traders the right tools to track and manage their assets the best way possible to start with, otherwise, newcomers will not have great traders they can interact with and learn from.
When will you release a roadmap?
We are not releasing a new roadmap similar to other product companies out there. What we will release are constant feature updates, product improvements and bug crushing reports.

Why was the launch held secretly?
We needed a clean canvas to build the product on top of, and make sure that nothing distracts us from it. It was crucial for the team to stay focused on what was important and to get app up & running as fast as possible. During that time we have built a team of 18 talented professionals (which sometimes is the hardest thing) that are now working in sync to grow the product to the heights expected from it.
What are your current marketing efforts?
We are focusing most of our attention on developing the best possible product, the marketing efforts revolve around collecting the right feedback, from the best users and improving the platform step by step.
The marketing effort will include both external and internal communication for user acquisition, organic growth and scaling. We plan to utilize several channels as PR, PPC advertising, internal marketing strategies and growth hacking methods. The marketing will be data oriented and focused based on performance and data analysis, exactly like a product company should be.
Moving forward, what is the plan?
Blox is being built for you, if our community does not find value in our product and enjoy using it, that means that we’re doing something wrong. Tell us what it is, help us shape the future of our (and yours) product, because in the end of the day, you will be benefiting from it. We still don’t have all the answers, we are humble enough to admit it, we will need your inputs, feedback, ideas, creativity and yes… also your criticism for us to be the best.
